Coney island playground sunrise

Four & a 1/2 sweaty cramped days made NH's summer mug feel like winter. We kicked it around my childhood for a couple weeks & caught another bus to NYC for the poetry festival to debut 2015's Chapbook Series. Neeko & I stayed up in Harlem w/ an old publisher of mine, around 149th & Malcolm X Blvd. Our SF homie Chris flew out from the Bay to kick it at the festival.

Day one of the festival, we met up w/ my Patron St. of NYC, Jennesy Herrera, who helped us run N!'s table & maintain thru our exhaustion. We also met a new homie, Michael Ganjehlou, who came down to Manhattan without plans or lodging to see the poetry festival. He ended up snagging a feature & rompusing about with us thru our time in the city, & has become a close friend of N! & ours.

August Smith & Leah Mueller & Neeko Ford & myself featured day two for N!'s set. With a succesful debut & solid distribution of 2015's chaps, we celebrated in Brooklyn & wound up passing out on Coney Island under a playground's cover. Wrapping up our time in NY, we bopped around aimlessly for a week before slinking quietly & exhausted back to NH. Neeko caught a Greyhound to Ohio to meet up with family, & made his way back to down to the desert, both of us carrying plans for kicking off the next tour in October.
