What's "Nostrovia" Mean?
"Nostrovia" is an English mispronunciation of the Russian word "Na Zdorovie" (Naz-dro-vyeh), which means "You are welcome". Though, outside of Russia, Na Zdorovie is commonly known as a drinking toast, which is incorrect. If you made a toast saying "Na Zdorovie", in a bar full of native Russians, they would be laughing heartily at your expense.
Nostrovia, now, is also slang for "let's get drunk" and "let's drink". More commonly though, it is just used as a simple drinking toast.

Nostrovia! Poetry is a small, independent press dedicated to to defeating the sterotypes of poetry. So many people, especially members of my generation, apply pre-read labels to poetry, calling it "whiny and pretentious . Nostrovia! Poetry aims to change that, and broaden the audience for poetry.

"Nostrovia", itself, as a word, is also pretty interesting. The fact it experienced so much evolution through being cast around through languages is fascinating.

Nostrovia! Poetry has a handful of submission calls currently sounding.
You can submit to the Monthly Poem Contest. Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis, the winner decided at the end of the month, along with 2 runner ups being published on the Guest Blog. The winner is anthologized in a yearly ebook publication.
Miracle Ezine and Nostrovia! Poetry have teamed up to bring you a micro-chapbook contest. The winner is published in their own micro-chapbook, and featured in an anthology consisting of the winner and 5 runner ups.
